THE LUMIÉRE

We're proud to release our first digital prop: the Lumiére! Jack's trusted weapon was created by N. J. Schnur, a League engineer who developed a new type of bullet and delivery system upon discovering the light forging process from the lightsmiths of Mercury. We've provided a hi-res 8 x 10" file for you to print out on your own.

We're gonna try to put together a simple how-to so you can make a prop for yourself! (And we'll be expecting you to send a picture when your done.)

Oh wow, a how-to would be just too cool. I assume that by 'prop' you mean it will not be able to fire? If not, will you be selling the mercury pins at a later date?

We'll get the Mercury pins out as soon as us Earthlings figure out how to condense light into solid matter.

WHAT'A IDEA!!!

The lightforge and the lightsmiths! Explains (or not) everything, better than in SW and all the laser guns souns-scientifical explanations.

Can you tell me what the base gun used for this prop was?

July 25, 2011 | Unregistered Commenterkeith1066

I wish Chris or someone from the production team had replied to the question about the base gun. I also would love to see the "how-to' on building the prop. From the pictures available here on the site and screen captures from the film of the gun, it appears to me that the base gun is a UHC airsoft revolver, probably the six-inch barrel model. One picture shows two slightly different revolvers for the prop base-guns, though, so it may be that a four-inch barrel pistol was used, too. They must have made a half dozen or more prop guns since we see about that many in a single scene near the end of the film. Hopefully, I'll get a response to this but if not, I will probably go ahead and make my own version using the UHC airsoft revolver.
