Two big pieces of news to share.

First, The Mercury Men will be re-released on Thursday, February 9th with director's notes, deleted scenes, outtakes, and visual FX breakdowns!  It's all the special features you love in a DVD, but you get to watch them online for free.  "Director's notes" are small behind-the-scenes text pop-ups that will appear while you watch the episode, sharing a lot of information about the series and how it was made (example image above).

Second, The Mercury Men picked-up three awards at the inaugural IAWTV Awards in Las Vegas last week!  The awards were: Best Director (Chris Preksta), Best Visual FX, and Best Supplemental Content (Digital Props)!  Thank you to the Academy of Web Television, to all you incredible fans and viewers, and congratulations to the entire cast and crew of The Mercury Men!

You can watch the award announcement HERE.

You have me hooked! Just goes to prove that a fantasticly intriguing story line and fx can be done without Hollywood. Rank you up there with Babylon 5, Farscape, X-Files. I know, a bit too much hyperbole. Hope to see this continue.
